THE SKYDIVING MARKETPLACE.

LIST FREE·SHARE ANYWHERE·HAND OVER THE HISTORY

Buy and sell gear with the whole sport, not one app's users. Photos, price, who and where. And the thing nobody else has: a canopy here can arrive carrying its own logbook, like a car with its book.

How it works

Three steps. No drama.

01

LIST IT, FREE

Photos, price, what it is, where you are. Under two minutes for a helmet. No listing fee and no paid bumps, ever.

02

ATTACH THE LOGBOOK

Selling a wing you fly with FlightX? One tap writes its Canopy Passport into a dated PDF snapshot on the advert. Optional, always, and helmets never hear about it.

03

SELL PROTECTED

Share the link anywhere, including the Facebook groups. When the deal is done the plan is simple: protected payment, and the live logbook moves to the buyer. Once protected checkout opens, a completed sale carries a 3 percent seller fee and the buyer pays the escrow service fee. Nothing before that.

Protected transactions

Your money never touches us.
That is the design.

The transaction layer is being built on licensed third-party escrow: the buyer's funds sit with the escrow provider, the seller ships to an independent rigger for inspection, and money moves only when the buyer accepts. FlightX never holds, receives or transmits your purchase funds, and never will. Until that layer is live, deals settle the way they do today, and we say so rather than pretend otherwise.

What it will cost, stated here so you do not have to go looking: listing stays free forever, a completed sale carries a 3 percent seller fee, and the escrow provider's service fee is paid by the buyer. There are no paid bumps and there never will be. The full breakdown is on the selling page.

The FlightX difference

Like a car, but for your canopy

A wing logged in the FlightX app carries a Canopy Passport: its logbook. Listing it here writes a snapshot of that logbook as a PDF, frozen at that moment. The advert shows the snapshot. The live logbook stays with the owner until the sale, then moves to the buyer and keeps growing.

  • Written at post time. The listing carries the PDF, never live data.
  • Frozen and dated. What the buyer saw is what the buyer saw.
  • Tamper evident. Fingerprinted at creation, so a swapped file is provable.
  • The serial is never shown. Not even partly. It travels with the passport when the wing sells.
  • Hours as well as jumps. Canopy time, opening to landing, because a wing wears by time under load.
  • Gaps show as gaps. Honest records are worth more. That is the point.

Straight up

What we check, and what we cannot

What Hangar Bay checks

  • A passport on a listing genuinely belongs to the account attaching it. Enforced on our servers.
  • Listings pass moderation, and the report button reaches a human.
  • The same wing cannot be listed twice, by construction.
  • Facts we show as ours are ones our systems witnessed. Everything else is labelled as declared by the owner.

What Hangar Bay cannot check

  • The gear itself. Only a rigger can, with the gear in their hands.
  • The money. FlightX never holds your funds.
  • What someone typed into their own logbook. Self-declared stays labelled self-declared.
  • Whether a canopy suits you. That conversation belongs with your coach and your rigger.
Our honest close, and we mean it: use a rigger, use a protected payment method, and if a deal feels wrong, walk away. There will always be another rig.
Early access

Be here before the gear is

We are opening with a small group of founding sellers and riggers before anything goes public, because a market with no gear in it helps nobody. One message when it is your turn, not a campaign.

No spam, no selling your address, and you can leave any time. Hangar Bay is in build and nothing on this page is a live listing yet.
